Basic instructions on how to install opencart

1. Download the latiest version of opencart
2. Exstract the files from the downloaded zip file
3. Upload the content of the upload folder to the root directory of your hosting
4. visit your website address
5. Follow the instructions on screen.

On the opencart download page you should download the latiset version of opencart, the download page also lets you download older versions of opencart.

Click on the download link next to the latest version of opencart on the download page. The download is a compressed zip file containing all opencart files.

When you have downloaded the zip file you will need to open it. If you have a program on your computer that can open zip files the file will open when double clicked on. If you do not have a program on your computer to open the zip file you can download WinRAR for free.

When you open the zip file you will see the following files

• "upload" folder
• "license.txt" file
• "readme.txt" file

The readme.txt file contains the instalation instructions. the licence.txt file contains the licence agrement with using opencart, and the upload folder contains all the files that you need to uload to yoour webhosting root directory.
